Straying from the traditional mindset of red and white wines, our red fruit wines consist of Blackberry, Blueberry, Pomegranate, Raspberry, Strawberry, and Watermelon. Our Blackberry, Blueberry, and Pomegranate are considered to be semi-sweet wines, where as, Raspberry, Strawberry, and Watermelon are considered our sweet wines. In our white wines we have Apple, Peach, and Pear, all of white are considered to be semi-sweet wines.
We have three types of muscadine wines. Our first is made from a red muscadine grape. We call this our Tobacco Road Red wine. Our second muscadine wine is made from a white muscadine grape, it is called Robert S. Lee. We also have a blended muscadine made from both the red and white muscadine grapes that we call Ms. Mary's Blush.
Here at Stephens Vineyard and Winery we are also "playing" around the kitchen looking for fresh new and delicious blends of fruit wines. We are looking at making a few new blends, were we are blending together a few of our favorites to bring to all of you. We are also looking at bringing together a sangria wine.
